Man vs Machine: Running along Fort Collins' historic Mountain Avenue is the perfect setting for the 5k "Race Against the Trolley" challenge. Toe the line with Birney Car 21 as you race up and down Mountain's flat & fast course to see if you've got what it takes to outrun the trolley! Everyone welcome - walk, jog, run, or race.
COURSE
The 5k race starts on Mountain Avenue in front of the Avery House (just east of Meldrum). Run Mountain Ave west to Grandview, U turn around and back down (“downhill) Mountain Ave to Howes Street, turn left & finish on Howes Street at Civic Center Park.

Aid Stations
There will be 1 aid station for the 5k. Aid Station will be located at the following distances along the course (approximate)
Each aid station will have water, BASE PERFORMANCE electrolyte drink (Peach Mango flavor), first aid supplies, & communication to the finish & EMS. Portable toilets will be located at the aid stations indicated. Please carry your own personal preference for on-course calories (gels, chews, beans, bars, blocks, etc).
