Muscle vs Machine: Running along Fort Collins' historic Mountain Avenue is the perfect setting for the 5k "Race Against the Trolley" challenge. Toe the line with Birney Car 21 as you race up and down Mountain's flat & fast course to see if you've got what it takes to outrun the trolley! Everyone welcome - walk, jog, run, or race.
COURSE
The 5k race starts on Mountain Avenue at Howes Street. Run Mountain Ave west to Grandview, U turn and run back down (“downhill”) Mountain Ave to the Finish line at the intersection with Howes Street.
Wet Your Whistle
Aid Stations
There will be 1 aid station for the 5k.
Aid station will have water, Skratch Labs electrolyte drink (Lemon+Lime flavor), first aid supplies, & communication to the finish & EMS. Please carry your own personal preference for on-course nutrition/calories (gels, chews, bars, blocks, etc).
