2025 Human Race 10k – New Course Preview

The 2025 Human Race 10k features a brand-new route that blends Fort Collins charm with scenic trail running. The race begins and ends on historic Mountain Avenue at the intersection of Mountain & Howes.

Runners will head west on Mountain Avenue before turning right onto Sherwood Street, descending gently toward Martinez Park. There, you’ll connect with the scenic Poudre River Trail, following the river west for approximately one mile.

A left turn onto the West Vine Poudre Trail Connection takes you up to a dirt trail loop circling Lincoln Middle School. Expect a gradual climb (~70 feet) over the next mile before turning back and enjoying a smooth 80-foot descent over the following two miles.

You’ll retrace your steps along the Poudre Trail and back through Martinez Park, finishing where it all began—with cheering crowds and fist pumping finish line celebration!
